Asda's customers vote to beat blood cancer!
Throughout July and August customers at Asda on Carlton Street Scunthorpe were given a green token when passing through the checkouts to vote for one of three causes to receive £200 from Asda. We are thrilled to share the news with you that we received the most votes throughout the two month period to receive the donation.
Bethany Hutson from our fundraising team received the cheque for £200 from Asda's Matthew Broadhead whilst helping at a collection in the store that raised a further £62.82 to help beat blood cancer.
We would like to thank all the customers that chose to vote for our cause when receiving their green token, and to Asda for their continued support. The store are also supporting our branch by housing our collection tubs on the till tops to raise further funds throughout the year to help beat blood cancer.
